Do you know the advantages of shopping online? One may find that it is more convenient, and they have no pressure on oneself when shopping. Others may feel it save time and there is no driving and parking that one has to worry over. As for many shoppers, enjoy being able to shop 24/7;larger online shopping sites: being able to do price comparison; and the consistency between advertised price and site price.
Along with the advantages , you have to have some disadvantages. Shoppers lack the touch of feeling the garments they are purchasing; having no salesman to help you with your selection; if you are purchasing clothing , you lack being able to try the clothing on; not being able to checkout the quality of material; standing a greater chance of having your order mixed up or receiving the wrong order.. You stand a greater chance of being involved in fraud when shopping online.
Advice to online shoppers:
1. Try to find out information on the merchant from third party information or references.
2. Take the time to review information about merchants and their products to determine if you feel you should establish confidence within the merchant.
3.Check to see if that merchant has a security certificate and know their quality.
4. Let it be known that you have checked the terms and conditions of their guarantee's; and refund policies.
5. Only deal with merchants which have a secure transaction system for when using credit cards.
6. Make yourself aware of any process changes when you decide to move from site to site.
7. Have an idea of what type merchandise you are looking for.
8. Know whether you really need to make that purchase or not
Advice from third party online shopping:
1. Be objective.
2. Listen to opinions other shoppers.
3. Know that one can remove merchants/or products to maintain a quality shopping site.
4. Feel free to offer your comments and feedback.
5. Remember the larger the shopping site , the more freedom you are given to shop.
There are many individual's that truly depend on online shopping. Many are confined to home and seldom if never get to go inside a shopping mall, to shop for themselves. It is sad enough that they have only online shopping to purchase their needs , it is even sadder to know that there are con artists online just waiting for their next victim.
Take the necessary steps to prevent yourself from being the next victim to a con artist.
